I have worked in IT for over 25 years and have successfully completed
many projects for over 20 clients as an independent consultant, with roles
spanning the full cycle development, including developer, systems analyst, team
lead, and project manager.
I can help you manage your business or IT projects according to your organization’s
established methods, or provide a complete project management plan with a
life cycle tailored to the needs of each individual project. This includes
successfully integrating the efforts of the project team with the use of what ever
collaborative processes, tools, methodologies, testing and
development environments are available or required, to ensure that the project is successful.
My availability is flexible, and can be scheduled ahead and tailored to the needs of your business,
from small projects starting at half a day per week, to larger projects which can
be ramped up to 40 hours per week if required.
I am familiar with what needs to exist outside of the project, including
understanding the customers, the products and systems, the programs needed for
long term success, the strategic planning required to select and deploy
projects, and the operational aspects of ongoing production system support. This
means that I am not only interested in “completing the project”, but also care
about “the quality of the product delivered”.
